Be sure not to miss out on these wonderful hands-on displays of Greene County’s history. Our programming, museum, and special events, not only preserve the history of our county in west-central Iowa but also make it come alive again! Our Greene County Historical Museum is located at 219 East Lincoln Way in Jefferson. Museum hours are on Wednesdays from 1 to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, from May 1 through October, and by appointment at (515) 386-8544. Admission is free, but donations are accepted.
