Jefferson is known for some amazing historical attractions, and one that hits the top of the charts is the iconic Mahanay Bell Tower located on the southwest corner of the Courthouse Plaza. Scaling 168’ 2” high, providing an enclosed observation deck at 120’, and hosting a four-octave carillon of 47 bells, this iconic attraction is one that you can’t miss out on experiencing! Go up and get a whole new view of Greene County or take a trip up regularly to see continuous additions of rooftop art around the square!
