Celebrate the season at Jefferson’s annual Winter Festival: Celebration of Trees on December 4–6. Held at Clover Hall at the Greene County Fairgrounds, this festive event invites you to stroll through a beautiful display of decorated trees, each uniquely designed by local individuals, businesses, and organizations. It’s a heartwarming way to experience the holiday spirit and enjoy the creativity of our community.

Thursday, December 4

Ladies Night Under the Lights
Kick off the Winter Festival with an evening designed just for the ladies! Enjoy a cozy night surrounded by beautifully decorated trees, holiday music, seasonal drinks, crafts, charcuterie, and great company at Clover Hall.
With a $50 registration fee, participants will create three unique crafts, enjoy two festive drinks, and savor a charcuterie box. It's the perfect way to treat yourself and get into the holiday spirit. Registration is full!
Friday, December 5

Private event viewing the trees
4:00 PM-7:00 PM
Open to the public
Bring your family and friends to experience the Festival of Trees! Wander through rows of beautifully decorated displays, snap photos, and soak in the spirit of the season.

Adult Jingle and Mingle (Ages 21+)
An evening for adults to unwind and celebrate the season! Enjoy trivia, drinks, and a festive atmosphere among the glowing trees. It’s perfect for a fun night out with friends or coworkers.
Saturday, December 6
9:00 AM-1:00 PM
Open to the public
The final day of the Festival! Stop by Clover Hall to see the trees one last time, enjoy holiday treats, and take in the cheerful sights and sounds of the season.

Be part of Jefferson’s holiday tradition by designing a festive display at Clover Hall. Each tree adds to the charm, creativity, and magic that make the Festival of Trees a highlight of the season.
We can’t thank our amazing Jefferson Matters volunteers and staff enough for making the Winter Festival happen. This event is powered by a team of passionate people who put in so much time and creativity —co-chairs Kelley Gray and Sherry Palmer, along with Emily Erps, Chris Heisterkamp, Philip Heisterkamp, Adrianna Vargas, and Shelby Wiggins.
A big thanks also goes out to our staff team, Kevin Paulsen, Matt Wetrich, and Emily Rohner, for keeping the holiday magic shining bright in Jefferson.

Tree setup will take place at Clover Hall on Wednesday, December 3 (4:00–8:00 PM) or Thursday, December 4 (10:00 AM–12:00 PM).

Displays must be removed Saturday, December 6 (2:00–4:00 PM) or Sunday, December 7 (12:00–1:00 PM). If you’re not available, please arrange for someone else to pick it up.

Absolutely! The Festival of Trees is a family-friendly event during public hours, and kids love seeing the creativity behind each display.
