Winter Festival

Held at Clover Hall at the Greene County Fairgrounds, this festive event invites you to stroll through a beautiful display of decorated trees, each uniquely designed by local individuals, businesses, and organizations. It’s a heartwarming way to experience the holiday spirit and enjoy the creativity of our community.

Cruisin’ to the Square

Thursday, August 13: 4:30-7:00 PM

“Cruisin’ to the Square” (formerly Hot August Night) is always the second Thursday of August with the rain date on Friday. Hosted by Jefferson Matters and organized by Chuck Wenthold, Pete Bardole, Jill Morton, along with committee members, invite people of all ages to spend the evening admiring all types of cars, trucks, motorcycles, and antique tractors parked around the historic downtown square and on adjoining streets. Registration is online and completely free. Participants can register on the day of the event. Prizes will be awarded to the vehicles in various categories. A Poker Walk event is also offered, with prizes awarded to the top Poker hands. A grilled picnic supper will be served by Jefferson Matters.
