Community Recognition & Nominations

One of the most meaningful ways to get involved is by recognizing the people who make Jefferson special. Throughout the year, we invite the community to submit nominations for several long-standing recognition programs that celebrate leadership, service, and lasting impact.

These online nomination forms remain open and are reviewed as part of each award’s selection process. (See below!)

  • Bell Tower Hall of Fame

    BELL TOWER FESTIVAL

    The intention of this award is to honor a person who has, through his or her international, national, or state achievements in professional and/or civic efforts, brought recognition to a Community in Greene County or to the county itself. It serves to show, by example, the far-reaching involvement of people who have, during some part of their lives, called Greene County their home. It is not intended to duplicate the ABC award, the award for community service Above and Beyond the Call of duty. Please complete the questionnaire to the best of your ability.

    COMMUNITY APPRECIATION EVENT

    The ABC Award is presented annually to an individual or couple who, through their personal involvement, their leadership qualities and their unselfish giving of time and talent, have positively affected activities or accomplishments beneficial to the community at large.

    COMMUNITY APPRECIATION EVENT

    Jefferson is powered by young adults who show up, step up, and make things happen. The Forces Under 40 recognition honors individuals under 40 who are making a meaningful impact through their time, leadership, and dedication to our community.
