April: A fresh start to the season
Rainy Day Reveal (Beginning in April)
Keep your eyes on the sidewalks as you shop around the square this spring. Several storefronts will feature rain art, a special type of sidewalk artwork that only appears when it rains. It’s a fun little surprise to look for during those spring showers! ☔️
April 18: Bowl-ieve in Jefferson Matters

May: Take in the views
The Bell Tower is opening for the season!
Starting in May, the Bell Tower will be open on weekends, giving visitors a chance to climb to the top and take in one of the best views in Jefferson. After Memorial Day, the tower will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM through the end of October, making it a perfect stop when you’re downtown shopping, exploring, or showing visitors around!
May 23: Bike Ride Around Greene County (BRAG)
Kick off Memorial Day weekend with the Bike Ride Around Greene County, a scenic 37-mile ride that circles the county and showcases the beauty of our area.
With great company, small-town charm, and plenty of memorable views along the way, BRAG is the perfect way to start summer. Whether you're riding for fun, the scenery, or the sense of accomplishment at the finish line, it’s always a favorite.

This laid-back, walkable music event brings live performances to front porches around town. With four porches and five performances, it invites people to stroll the neighborhood, discover local musicians, and enjoy a relaxed summer evening surrounded by music and community.
August: A classic favorite
